June 15-16, 2017, Rezekne, Latvia

Conference “Environment. Technology. Resources.” is held every other year since 1997.

The Conference attracts a faculty and doctoral students, staff of scientific research institutions – the leading researchers and the researchers from various higher education institutions, as well as other interested parties from Latvia and abroad. During the Conference the latest achievements in science are presented, as well as a variety of technologies and equipment for environmental problem solving are demonstrated, and a literature presented.

Participation fee:

  • The Conference participation fee is EUR 190, which includes all the costs of the paper reviewing, publishing of the Conference materials, materials for a participant of the Conference, a collection of the Conference papers, coffee breaks and two evening parties.  * without participation in two evening parties EUR 150.
  • Co-authors who would like to obtain a collection of the papers, materials for a participant of the Conference and to participate in the evening parties have to pay EUR 135.
  • If one author publishes two papers, for the publication of the second paper he or she has to pay EUR 80.
  • Authors who only would like to publish paper and obtain a collection of the papers, without participation on Conference have to pay EUR 95.
  • The collected papers are going to be available during the Conference for EUR 25.`

Participation fee does not include travel expenses and hotel accommodation.

Submission of papers:

  • Registration and abstract submission (up to 300 words) until 03.02.2017.
  • Notice of acceptance of abstracts and the request to prepare a scientific article to 10.02.2017.
  • Submission of scientific papers in English till 25.03.2017.
  • Notice of review results and final approval until 03.04.2017.
  • The conference fee transfer to Rezekne Technology Academy of account must be made by 15.03.2017.
  • Reviewed will be only those articles for which payment has been made.

Publications

Participants are invited to give a presentation (20 min.) or a poster presentation as well as the opportunity to participate in exhibitions and present products.
All scientific articles are reviewed by independently reviewers.
Conference proceedings, starting from 2005 conference are indexed by SCOPUS database http://ejuz.lv/6nu

 

Author Guidelines

All authors are kindly requested to download the format sample and prepare their contributions accordingly. It should be noted that papers must be written in exact ETR format before they are uploaded to a conference, as this contributes to the best appeareance of the proceedings. If the final version of a paper is considerably different to the desired format, it will not be published even if it is accepted and registered.

JOHN J. BERZINSH was born in Riga, Latvia and went to the Free University of Malnava, where he studied information technology and obtained his degree in 1980. He worked for a couple of years for the Rezekne Software Company EDUSOFT before moving in 1986 to the University of Anytown where he is now leading a large research group in the field of development of Worldwide e-Learning systems.
